one year ago, i posted this (& also my very first) post.

yesterday was my 23rd birthday. this year, i have planned a lot of ‘cool’ things. why not blog about it? well…let’s see how it goes.

some of my ‘to-do’s for the year:

• have a permanent teaching position. (currently filling a maternity leave…)
• make a shit-ton of friends in chicago.
• get a dog.
• love my body.
• watch the entire collection of ‘the godfather’ movies.
• spring break 2010.
• fall in love.
• learn the ‘thriller’ dance.

…i’m sure i’ll have more. now that i look at it, idk if these are really ‘cool’ things…whatev.

hmmm… time to check it out.

•  love my body. —still workin, but LOVE my new bsj.*

• spring break 2010. —got sunburned by a tanning bed. working on sb’11.
• fall in love. —undecided.
• learn the ‘thriller’ dance. —still working on the percolator…

so, it looks like i still have some things to do; but i would consider this past year a success. i’ve got a great family, a career & the most bomb-diggity friends a girl could ask for. cooler? totally.

whelp, it’s time to go to bed…busy day celebrating the big 2-4 with 7 year-olds tomorrow.
